Individual Therapy
Weekly sessions with a licensed psychologist with the purpose of achieving specific goals to improve how you function and show up in life.
We can help with various challenges like:
What is individual therapy?
-
Major life transitions
Life changes—whether expected or unexpected—can bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional challenges. We support individuals in navigating transitions such as career changes, parenthood, relocation, relationship changes, grief, and other significant life events.
-
Perfectionism
For high-achieving individuals, perfectionism can create pressure, self-criticism, and a constant fear of making mistakes or disappointing others. Together, we explore healthier ways to approach achievement, self-worth, and balance while fostering greater self-compassion.
-
Intergenerational conflict
Differences in values, expectations, communication styles, and life experiences can create tension within families. We help individuals and families better understand one another, strengthen relationships, and navigate conflict with greater empathy and clarity.
-
Bicultural challenges
Balancing multiple cultural identities can bring unique opportunities as well as feelings of conflict, guilt, or not fully belonging. We provide a supportive space to explore identity, family expectations, cultural values, and personal goals.
-
Spiritual confusion
Questions about faith, spirituality, meaning, or purpose can arise during times of change, loss, or personal growth. We offer a respectful and nonjudgmental space to explore these experiences and what feels authentic to you.
-
Undiagnosed neurodiversity
Many individuals reach adulthood without realizing that traits associated with ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodiversity may be influencing their experiences. We help clients better understand themselves, identify strengths and challenges, and explore strategies that support daily functioning and well-being.
-
Relationship Issues
Relationships can be a source of connection and fulfillment, but they can also bring challenges and stress. We help individuals and couples improve communication, navigate conflict, establish healthy boundaries, and strengthen meaningful connections.
-
Burnout & Stress Managment
Chronic stress can affect your emotional well-being, physical health, relationships, and ability to function day-to-day. We work with clients to understand the sources of stress, develop coping strategies, and create a more sustainable balance in their lives.
Our approach is collaborative, structured, and evidence-based, focusing on short-term, solution-focused interventions designed to help you achieve your goals and ultimately graduate from care. We focus on building self-awareness and addressing unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors, transforming how you think about yourself, others, and the world. We also help you begin making changes in your life that are in line with what’s important to you so that you can begin moving forward with confidence. It is our hope that one day, you will be ready to leave therapy with the tools, strategies, and self-efficacy needed to live a healthy and meaningful life.
Our Approach
Through this targeted process, we help our clients develop actionable, lifelong skills to help:
Transform self-talk: Become significantly kinder to yourself and show up authentically in social settings.
Break habits: Learn skills to help regulate emotions, set boundaries, and stop unwanted patterns of behavior.
Build deep connections: Practice genuine vulnerability with safe people while overcoming anxious avoidance.
Master symptom management: Gain practical tools to manage symptoms, identify and communicate your needs, and prevent future relapses.
Faith-Based Therapy
For individuals seeking a more spiritually informed approach, faith-based therapy integrates Christian values and spirituality with evidence-based care. This can provide space to explore mental health concerns, life challenges, spiritual questions, or healing from religious and church-related experiences. Learn about faith-based therapy →
Couples & Family Sessions
Sessions with spouses, family members, or adult children can provide additional support in reaching individual therapy goals. Clients can request conjoint sessions as needed for the purpose of improving areas like communication, conflict resolution skills, and boundaries.

Every therapist and therapy experience is different based on a multitude of factors. We encourage you to let your provider know about your experience and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. We recommend weekly sessions for the first three months. Once you are able to make meaningful progress on your goals, we discuss moving to bi-weekly, monthly, or maintenance sessions as needed. We encourage short-term, effective therapy solutions, however depending on the complexity of your issues and treatment goals, therapy can last up to a year or more.
