OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide culturally responsive mental health care that emphasizes the whole person and empowers individuals through evidence-based practices.

Values that guide our work

  • Professional Excellence

We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care, tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our approach is guided by current research, professional expertise, and continuous evaluation and improvement of our services.

  • Transparency

We believe trust is built through open and honest communication. We strive to provide clear information about services, expectations, fees, and progress so you can make informed choices about your care.

  • Acceptance

We honor each person’s unique experiences, identities, and perspectives. We provide a nonjudgmental environment where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

  • Growth & Learning

We believe change is possible throughout life. We approach each client with intellectual curiosity and humility, knowing that each therapeutic relationship brings a new experience of learning for both the client and provider.

  • Authenticity

We believe that meaningful and effective growth begins with an authentic understanding of the self. We strive to create a space where individuals can show up as their true selves and feel safe for vulnerable self-exploration.

  • Accessible & Flexible Support

We understand that every person's circumstances, needs, and preferences are different. We strive to make our services approachable and adaptable whenever possible to help clients access support in ways that are practical and effective.

  • Social Justice & Advocacy

We believe every person deserves to have their voice heard and their choices respected. We advocate for equitable access to resources and work to reduce barriers to care, fostering inclusion and education for all individuals and communities.

  • Cultural Sensitivity

We seek to understand and respect the diverse backgrounds, identities, values, and lived experiences of those we serve. We incorporate cultural assessment into the therapeutic process so that assumptions and biases are continuously examined and clients feel seen, heard, and valued.

Our approach,
and why it works

You are more than your symptoms, emotions, or diagnosis. We take a whole-person approach that considers the many interconnected facets of your life including your social and cultural background, environment, medical history and status, biology, upbringing, family dynamics, and personal experiences.

We work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan with specific goals that help clients feel grounded and confident throughout the treatment process. We also use a structured, evidence- and outcomes-based modality that individuals often find helpful when starting therapy for the first time. While our work is often short-term, we also recognize that healing is not linear. Clients facing trauma, complex psychological concerns, or more serious impairments are given the space, support, and personalized treatment needed to achieve lasting change.
