Faith-Based Therapy

For individuals seeking a more spiritually-informed treatment approach, we offer faith-based therapy. Rather than a focus on specific religious beliefs or doctrine, faith-based therapy is an integrative approach that incorporates an individual’s spirituality with evidence-based clinical interventions.

What is faith-based therapy?

Our Approach

Therapy that honors both your mental health and your faith.

We understand that spirituality can deeply shape how people experience challenges, suffering, relationships, identity, coping, healing, and support. In faith-informed therapy, clients are invited to share their spiritual values and incorporate them to the client’s level of comfort, helping your beliefs become a functional, active anchor in your recovery and daily life.

This approach may be supportive for individuals navigating:

  • Spiritual confusion or questions around faith and identity

  • Religious or church-related trauma

  • Feelings of shame, fear, or spiritual disconnection

  • Marital or relational challenges where faith feels absent or strained

  • Difficulty integrating faith into everyday life, relationships, and mental health

  • Anxiety, burnout, depression, grief or life transitions through a spiritual lens

Our goal is not to prescribe beliefs, but to help clients thoughtfully process their experiences while integrating emotional, relational, and spiritual healing.

2. Schedule your first session

Once you are connected to your provider, you can arrange for a brief consultation or schedule your first appointment. You will receive an email invitation to our client portal where you will complete paperwork and upload insurance information.

3. Intake appointment

The first session is a chance for your provider to get to know you better, understand what brings you to therapy, and gather relevant history and background information. It is also a time where you and your provider may begin talking about your goals for therapy.
